Like the 2 mins mug cake, Ragi Semiya kheer can be prepared in just 2 mins. When you are left with no time or patience to cook a sweet, can just prepare this. Even the person who dislikes ragi / finger millet will love this kheer.
1 cup ragi semiya (roasted in ghee to keep it nonsticky)
1 cup whole milk
¼ cup water
3 tbsps brown sugar
Pinch of cardamom powder.
1 tbsp ghee
Nuts to garnish
1. Mix milk, water, cardamom pow and brown sugar. Bring the milk to a boil.
2. When the milk comes to a boil, add the semiya to the milk and cook for 1 to 2 mins on a high flame. Cooking time depends on the quantity of semiya. 1 cup usually takes 1 to mins. Do not overcook t and do not stir vigorously, can become sticky.
