Instructions
Sweet Oatmeal with Egg
Pour ½ cup water to a pot and add oatmeal.
Bring to a boil on a high heat and reduce to simmer.
When the oatmeal soaks up all of the water, stir in ½ to ¾ cup milk and let simmer.
Meanwhile whisk egg and milk in a bowl until well mixed.
Add cinnamon, nutmeg and sweetener to the oats.
Stir in the whisked egg and milk. Let cook until it reaches a thick porridge like consistency.
Transfer oatmeal with egg to a serving bowl. Top with raisins.
Savory Oatmeal with Egg
Add oatmeal and carrots/peas to a pot of boiling water. Cook until thick yet runny.
Lower the flame completely and add the egg.
Stir gently until the egg is combined well. Cover and cook until the eggs are completely done.
Add curry powder (or your favorite seasoning) pepper and salt. Allow this to rest for some time.
Serve creamy oatmeal with egg hot or warm.
