Fruit juice recipes – Healthy, delicious and hydrating fruit juice recipes. No doubt eating whole fruits is one of the most healthiest ways of consuming them. But the basic health benefit of fruit juices is an increase in the amount of consumption of fruits. The amount of fruits that are consumed in the form of juice is much higher than the quantity that we can normally eat. So even 1 to 2 servings of fruit juice in a day is going to provide lot of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients, helping us to overcome deficiencies.
Fruits when eaten whole provide soluble and insoluble fiber to the body. While juicing eliminates insoluble fiber, soluble fiber still remains in the juice. The insoluble fiber slows down the absorption of nutrients in the fruits. So when they are removed, the absorption of nutrients is much higher and faster.
In the long run fruit juices are not very healthy as they are devoid of the fibers and is high in sugars. But consuming them as a part of rejuvenating diet, to overcome nutritional deficiencies works wonderfully in all age groups.
